Mrs Henman, Quainton
After completing some work for the local builder Mark Bryant, where we installed a set of bi-folding doors and a lantern into a small extension, we were then asked to replace the existing front of house windows which were currently timber and traditional box sashes.
As the property was a listed building it was decided that we needed to match up with both product and design by using a timber box sash slider. We were able to not only improve the look and appearance of the property, but also the performance of the windows - going from a single-glazed window to a double-glazed.
As the box sashes were rendered into the existing brickwork, while taking the windows out of the property there was quite a lot of making good to be done. However, with our skilled joiners and by having a builder/plasterer on site, we were able to put the property back to its original state.
On completion Mrs Henman was more than happy with our services, the products we used, and the greatly improved appearance of her property.
